We had dinner tonight with Chris, Adam, and Lindsey. Becky had to work and wasn't able to make it but she'll be here on Thursday.

Sitting in the lobby at the Ritz with Adam and Lindsey before dinner.

postheadericon Christmas

It was great being with everyone for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. I missed all of you who weren't here but hope you had a great Christmas too.

Brian and Maureen and Ann were all taking pictures. I hope they are able to get them on the Blog so the ones of you that couldn't be here can see.

I love you all

postheadericon Merry Christmas to you all!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day! We miss seeing you.

We went to our yearly neighborhood brunch this morning and it was lovely as always. The sun is out and it is a near perfect 80 degrees. Cool weather coming in tonight though.

And early Monday morning we head out for New Orleans and a week with Don's family.

postheadericon Snow!

I understand you all had lots of snow back east ... we just got an inch today but we had plenty on the ground from last week.

We walked downtown early this morning for breakfast while it was still snowing.

postheadericon Holiday decorating

It is SO freaky to see Chris post photos of my former house.

As of right now, this is how our house is decorated for Christmas. They're supposed to finish repairing the ceiling on Monday but we'll see -- then we'll have to clean up after them. Needless to say, there won't be any decorations up this year.

postheadericon Fun with Christmas Lights!

Hope that everyone is ready for Christmas. I know most of you guys are getting snow right about now and Beck and I wish that you could send a little down South. We both hope that you all have a great Christmas week!

Just messing around with the Christmas lights to take this picture. I thought it was different, and decided to share it.

Great photo Chris, glad you had a nice holiday. I missed everyone (especially Keith) but am looking forward to my trip to Virginia on Wednesday.

Chesty's recovering from his surgery but he was pretty pitiful for a few days.

postheadericon Thanksgiving!

postheadericon Lithotripsy or surgery??

Chesty's set for Monday -- they're going to attempt the lithotripsy but will have a surgical team standing by if they're unsuccessful. He has to have anesthesia either way so we'll see how it goes.

postheadericon Thanksgiving

Adam we will miss you at Thanksgiving too. I'm glad to hear that you all are doing well.

postheadericon My poor baby

Chesty has bladder stones and will have to have them removed.... we have an appointment at the University tomorrow to see if he's a candidate for lithotripsy. If not, they'll remove them surgically and either way he will have to be anesthetized. Of course, my preference is for him NOT to have an incision since it's difficult to keep him from licking or scratching.

I'm heading to Mankato -- 2 hours south of the city to give a lecture tonight on my HeartStrings Project. Wish me luck.

postheadericon newest trip to the OBGYN

Well Lindsey and myself just went to the OB/GYN for the second time yesterday and the baby is growing well and starting to look more human and less like a peanut. We did all of blood tests and will find out the result's on the 18 and also we will do the test for down's syndrome. I am going to miss everyone over Thanksgiving this year. I hope everyone is going to be safe and have a good time.
